Capturing the Art of You

What Makes Me Different

I give my clients a boutique photography experience. I hold your hand from the first phone call until you bring home your heirloom artwork. My clients don't have CDs of files collecting dust in a drawer, unprinted and unseen. My clients have beautiful artwork that celebrates the people they love most displayed proudly in their homes.

The art I create isn't the stiff smile-at-the-camera photography you might see in staff lists and church directories. I work with you to capture the essence of who you are, what you love, and the bonds that you share. I often take hundreds of photos, then narrow it down to the absolute best, and present you with options for large wall portraits and collections. With a few photos of your home from you, I can even show you what they will look like in your space.

Why I Love What I Do

There were always a TON of pictures in my family, but the photos would just sit in the pharmacy lab envelopes they came in. I called home recently to ask for a few, and my brother was digging through trash bags full of photos to find them.

A lot of us have modern trash bags full of photos on our phones, but what happens to those memories if a phone is lost or broken? I want my clients to see the art they're investing in every day.

Imagine coming home after a long day, and the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the smiling faces of your favorite people, a moment of joy and togetherness captured in time. Imagine your children seeing themselves at their best, their personalities shining, every time they walk by their portraits, and remembering how proud you are of them. Imagine your grandchildren staring in wonder as they hear stories of the people they came from, seeing your face, the joy and love in your eyes, in that moment so long ago.

My family had portraits taken when I was young, and I always loved seeing them around the house. When I had a fight with my brother as a kid, seeing the portrait hanging in my parents' room reminded me that no matter how annoying he was, I still loved him. When I was mad at my mom for parenting me as a teen, seeing the portrait hanging in the living room reminded me that she still loved me. When I miss my dad, seeing the portrait my parents gave me when I moved out reminds me just how much he loved his family. These are so precious to me, and I know that if having these memories preserved gives me so much comfort, it can do the same for others.
